The Minister of Agriculture and the Creative economy organized the 2025 edition of the We Village Dat on September 4, 2025. The event was organized with the aim of paying tribute to the unsung heroes who continue to shape and strengthen their community.
The Minster took the opportunity to honor the people who have made the community a better place. The people who were honored in this year’s We Village Dat event were responsibvble for the several improvements in the communities.
The people gathered at the Phillip’s to celebrate and honor the unsung heroes who have played an understated role in the development of the community and the nation at large. The officials have shared the list of people who were honored in the 2025 edition of the We Village Dat.

The Minister has shared that at the event, he received some agriculture produce at the end of the event. The event is hosted every year and honors the people who deserve to be highlighted for their work in the favour of the community. Minister Samal Duggins said that he was delighted to have been part of the celebration.
He said that this event made him realize that community is extremely crucial for the overall development of the country. He shared several images from the event on his social media and extended his best wishes to the winning awardees.
He also shared his own experience of being a part of the initiative to pay triute to the people who have shaped the community and its people. The people who were not able to the celebration in person also extended their best wishes to the people who were honored during this event.
