The High Commissioner of Canada to Barbados, Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia & Saint Vincent & the Grenadines, OECS Commission, Lilian Chatterjee, has extended her gratitude to the government of St Kitts and Nevis for hosting her for the Diplomatic Week. She successfully concluded her diplomatic visit to the Caribbean Island on April 28, 2023.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Commerce and Industry hosted the third edition of the Diplomatic Week from Sunday, April 23 to Friday, April 28, 2023. The event featured several events promoting closer international cooperation between St Kitts and Nevis and the rest of the world. Several prominent members of the international community, apart in Addition to Ambassador Lilian Chatterjee attended the event.
The attendants included the High Commissioner of Saint Kitts and Nevis to the United Kingdom, Kevin Isaac. He was joined by a special representative from the United Kingdom to St Kitts and Nevis, Gurdip Dev Bath, Ambassador for Denmark,. Kim Hojlund Christensen, Theodora Magdalena Mircea, Ambassador of Romania to St. Kitts and Nevis, Linda Taglialatela, U.S. Ambassador to Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean and the OECS, Honorary Consul to Switzerland, Seven Golstein, Ambassador for Denmark, Kim Hojlund Christensen
During the event, Canadian Ambassador Lilian Chatterjee discussed several critical isssues of bilateral co-operation between Canada and ST Kitts and Nevis. She clarified that the countries have built their bilateral relations on shared values and strong people-to-people ties.
Accordingly, Ambassador Chatterjee also took to her twitter account to share her appreciation and gratutude on being hosted by the governemnt of St kitts and Nevis to the third edition of the diplomatic week. She extended her gratitude to PM Dr Terrance Drew, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr Denzil Douglas and the members of the government who shared their warmth & hospitality.
