Three judges of the Eastern Caribbean Court of Appeal holds proceedings in a matter on Wednesday in which St Kitts and Nevis’ Minister of Tourism and International Trade, Hon Lindsay Grant and Ambassador of Youth, Sports and Culture, Jonel Powell, are appealing the refused of a High Court Judge to set aside a ruling in a matter for breach of trust, breach of fiduciary duty and failure to account or misappropriation of US$460,000 (EC$1.2 million) belonging to a client.

In an October 28, 2019 decision, High Court Judge His Lordship Hon Eddy Ventose refused to set aside a default judgment and ordered Tanzil, Grant and Powell to make submissions on the assessment of damages.
