Kaitlyn Wilson the winner of Miss St Kitts and Nevis in 2023, has also been crowned as the winner of 2024 Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant which was held in Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant’s 42nd edition took place on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 7 p.m. at the Multipurpose Sports Complex, Road Town.
The participant from British Virgin Islands was the first runner up, followed by Anguilla as the second runner up, and Antigua & Barbuda as the third runner up.
Twelve teens participated in the pageant along with last year’s Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen, Takyla Hart-Johnson of St Kitts and Nevis, celebrated their young talents, creativity, and intellect, under the theme ‘Project Truth’.
Moreover, this year’s show marked a great milestone as for the first time the show was held outside St Kitts in the British Virgin Islands.
Rupert Vanterpool Jr, the Country Director for the pageant said during a press conference on December 26, 2024 that British Virgin Islands is a mix of cultures, offering a blend of natural beauty, history, and a welcoming atmosphere.
The young ladies participating in the pageant competed in three rounds – Interview, Theatrical Performance, and Evening Wear.
St Kitts and Nevis Triumphs again in Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant
Last year also Haynes Smith Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant was won by a participant from St Kitts and Nevis, Takyla Hart-Johnson.
With another winner from the twin island nation, its has made St Kitts and Nevis a consecutive two time winner of the show.
The show returned in 2023 after a three year hiatus, with the last one being held in 2019, with Kersandra Edwards of St. Lucia emerging as the winner.
