Vaughn Anslyn Gifts Custom Portrait to IShowSpeed During St. Kitts Visit

Popular Nevisian artist Vaughn Anslyn Nevisian artist who has created art in various forms including portraits, photography, murals and more has come under spotlight for another piece of art which he created for IshowSpeed. The youtuber visited the federation of St Kitts and Nevis as a part of his Caribbean island tour. 

The painting was presented to the 21 year old youtuber on April 29, 2026, during iShowSpeed’s Caribbean tour. Anslyn’s gift to the youngster is proof of the fact that the local artistic expression and global digital influence can coexist.

Anslyn said that he created this painting to reflect both the public persona of iShowSpeed and the visual landscape of St. Kitts and Nevis.

He talked about the painting to the members of the media and highlighted the process which started his painting. He said that he got to know that Ishowspeed will be visiting the Timothy Hill landmark of St Kitts and Nevis. This inspired him to create the piece  with the peninsula view in the background.

The Nevisian artist also one of the streamer’s signature hand gestures as an element within the painting. He said that he added the gesture to make sure that the elements of his painting were recognized immediately among his global audience.

Vaughn Anslyn said that creating the painting took approximately six hours to complete, The piece began with the creation of the background and facial work the day before, and concluding with final refinements on the day of iShowSpeed’s arrival.

Beyond the technical process, Anslyn said the painting also had a deeper intention. He observed that iShowSpeed had a very tightly scheduled itinerary limiting his time in the Federation.

He was not able to Nevis as such, the Anslyn felt compelled to make sure that Nevis was represented in some form.

“I needed to represent Nevis in some way, shape or form,” he said.

Reflecting on the presentation, Anslyn described the response as more meaningful than any financial reward.

“I always tell people I don’t work for the money. My reward comes from the expressions of clients when they see my work,” he said. “To have someone of that magnitude appreciate it and say he was taking it with him was more than enough for me.”

The artist said that the  painting meant more than just personal recognition. His aim was to increase the visibility of Nevisian creative talent on an international stage.
