St Kitts cruise sector closed the month of February with four cruise ships arriving on the island on Saturday, February 28. The four cruise ship days was proof that the tourism sector of the country is still receiving strong traffic of cruise ships and passengers. 

The Month of February was highly successful for the cruise sector of the country with thousands of passengers coming to the island on board scores of ships. On the last day of the month, the island received upwards of 10,600 passengers on the island. 

The four ships which visited the island on Saturday included, The Norwegian Sky, The Norwegian Breakaway, Ambassador Ambience and Costa Fascinosa. 

All the ships have previously made cruise calls to the island during different times during the 2025-2026 cruise tourism sector. The arrival of these major cruise ships to the island of St Kitts is legitimate proof of the nation’s reputation as a growing designation for cruise tourism. 

On Saturday, Norwegian Sky arrived to the shores of St Kitts from St. Lucia carrying a massive 2,156 passengers. The Norwegian Breakaway arrived from Tortola with a crowd of 3,898 passengers. Ambassador Ambience came into the island from St Vincent and was carrying with itself 1,321 passengers onboard.

Finally, the Costa Fascinosa sailed into the island with a total 3,262 passengers when the ship arrived from Guadeloupe.

The island has shared that most of the 10,600 people who came to the island onboard these four ships came to the island to experience the various offerings of the island. The officials have shared that the travellers explored the scenic railways of the island and the various popular landmarks of the island. 

The officials have shared that some of the popular destinations were: The Berkley Memorial at the Circus, Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, Black Rocks. The island is hoping to sustain this momentum with the upcoming month as the cruise season continues. 

The officials have shared that it is important for small islands like St Kitts and Nevis to maintain the momentum of arrivals and constantly grow the tourism sector and make themselves stronger.
