New year 2026 has been a massive success for St Kitts in terms of cruise arrivals. In the first three days of the year, the island welcomed over 13,200 passengers. Starting January 1, 2024, the island welcomed three cruise ships carrying a massive 5976 passengers. The ships which docked on the shore of St Kitts on New Year’s Day were, Brilliance of the Seas, Vision of the Seas, and La Bouganvillia.
Among them, these three ships welcomed nearly 6,000 passengers in a single day, with Brilliance of the Seas contributing 2,592 passengers, Vision of the Seas bringing in 2,220 passengers, and La Bouganvillia sailing into the island with 169 guests.
On New Year’s Day, the passengers who sailed into the island on these ships had the opportunity to attend the Grand Parade. The passengers had the opportunity to experience one of most anticipated cultural event of the Carnival along its route.
On January 2, the island welcomed a single cruise ship, Azamara Ovation. The ship docked off the Carambola and the number of passengers this ship brought along was not known accurately.
On Saturday, January 3, the island welcomed a massive four cruise ships to their shores. The ships that docked at Port Zante on this day were, The Marella Discovery 2, Norwegian Sky, Costa Fascinosa and the Viking Sea.
In total, all four cruise ships brought just shy of 8,300 guests. In this regard, Marella Discovery 2 had 1,816 passengers onboard, Norwegian Sky brought in 2,195 passengers to the island. Costa Fascinosa sailed into the island nation with 3,381 passengers and the Viking Sea had 90 guests on board.
The week starting Monday will be another highly successful week for the island as St Kitts Prepares to welcome a massive 20 ships throughout the week. As the cruise season progresses, the island is cementing its place as one of the most in demand destination for cruise partners.
