St Christopher Air and Sea Ports Authority has shared a positive outlook for the cruise sector of the island nation for the upcoming months. The nation is entering what is traditionally known as the off season for the cruise season of the country.
However, despite the slow season that the nation was entering, the island is expected to welcome more than 20 cruise ships to the island. The tourism sector of the island has been seeing significant growth over the last few years.
The St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority (SCASPA) made this announcement on Monday. They announced that the cruise ships are scheduled to call at the St. Kitts’ Port Zante over the next four months.
The tourism stakeholders of St Kitts have been working towards strengthening the position of the island in the St Kitts and Nevis. The officials have shared that they want to position St Kitts as a year-round cruise destination.
The officials have shared that they also want to continue to generate opportunities for local businesses, tourism stakeholders, and the wider economy.
The officials have shared that they are positive about the cruise arrivals between June 1 and September 30, 2026, “will help to sustain tourism activity and support the local economy during the traditional off-season.”
The vessels which will call at Port Zante during the next four months include Rhapsody of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Star of the Seas, and Celebrity Beyond.
Rhapsody of the Seas is scheduled to call on:
- June 10 and June 24
- July 8 and July 22
- August 4 and August 19
- September 2, September 16, and September 30
Allure of the Seas is scheduled to call on:
- June 2 and June 30
- July 28
- August 25
Star of the Seas is scheduled to arrive on:
- June 18
- July 9 and July 30
- August 20
Celebrity Beyond is scheduled to call on:
- June 25
- July 23
- August 20
