The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew has shared some images from the first church service of St Kitts and Nevis. The leadership of the nation came. The Members of the Cabinet, Prime Minister and other members of the government gave thanks to the god and worshiped with their families.
The Prime Minister said that they hoped for a good new year on the first Sunday of the year. The leadership has shared that the church service marking the beginning of the new year was hosted at St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
The Prime Minister reflected on the experience of worshipping with his colleagues and members of the cabinet. The church service was special as it marked the beginning of the new year. The tradition to mark the beginning of the year with worship brings positivity to the start of the year. The leadership has shared that the church service was a meaningful time of reflection and thanksgiving. The attendants of the church service reflected on the work that they want done in the next year.
Prime Minister Drew was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Diani Jimesha Prince-Drew. Minister Konris Maynard was accompanying his daughters. The Senator and Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Constituency Empowerment et al, Joyelle Clarke was also seen in the church service with her newborn.
All the members of the Prime Minister’s Cabinet worshipped god and sought blessings for the year ahead. Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew said, they start the year seeking guidance, wisdom, and grace for the responsibilities that they handle for the nation and in their respective personal lives.
Talking about the future of the nation and reflecting on the spirituality of the exercise, PM Drew said that as they move into the new year, they have faith in the guidance and direction of God. The members of the cabinet along with their families welcomed the new year with renewed purpose, and the support of our people for the continued good of our Federation.
The people of St Kitts and Nevis also extended their sincerest best wishes for the future of the nation and expressed their faith in the capabilities of their leadership.
