People’s Action Movement leader and elected representative of the people from constituency #5, Shawn Richards extended his best wishes to the newly sworn-in government of the federation.
He expressed his most cordial congratulation to the cabinet on behalf of the leadership and members of the People’s Action Movement (PAM) following their first day at work in the government headquarters.
The leader of the political party, Shawn Richards stated that the outcome of the elections hosted by the country on Friday, August 5, 2022, was an expression of the people’s will. He said that the People’s Action Movement respected that decision and the people’s preference for the SKN Labour Party at this time.
He further stated that the government is faced with the challenge of building the nation and promised their support to the new government of the federation whenever the government’s decisions will be in the people’s best interest.
The political party leader has further promised the government and the people of St Kitts and Nevis that they would offer the most productive alternatives as an opposition to the government and safeguard the best interests of the twin islands.
PAM Leader Shawn Richards extended his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the members of the political party along with the supporters of PAM who voted for their candidates in the general elections. Along with that, he congratulated the successful candidates from the various constituencies who made it into St Kitts and Nevis general assembly.
Shawn Richards promised that the political party would return as a viable option to keep several social, economic, and political changes which would add to the quality of life of the people of St Kitts and Nevis.
The PAM leader looks forward to another session of meaningful debates in the national assembly, hoping that these discussions and debates will translate into the welfare of the people.
