Three people were arrested overnight, including two teens for a robbery and carjacking which occurred in St. Paul.
St. Paul Police said that the police officers responded to a location near the intersection of Hoyt Avenue E and Westminster Street on Friday at about 12:10 a.m.
The victim told the police that two male suspects approached him, and one of them had a gun.
The police said that the victim was forced into his vehicle brought to a bank by the suspects, they used his ATM card to withdraw money from his account, and then they dropped the victim off at the location and locked him in a garage.
The victim’s vehicle was stolen by the suspects.
According to police, a police squad located the vehicle of the victim abandoned near Larpenteur Avenue and Marion Street.
While squads were with the vehicle, they heard another robbery which was happening nearby, near to the intersection of Arlington Avenue and Arkwright Street.
That victim told the police that a gun was displayed and also that the suspects stole what he had on him along with his vehicle.
Officers located the victim’s vehicle, and the suspects ran and fled on foot.
Police said that the police officers were able to arrest a 20-year-old, named Xavion Tyrece Bell for possession of ammunition by an ineligible person and first-degree aggravated robbery.
Two 17-year-old boys were also arrested for first-degree aggravated robbery.
