Tricia Clarke, Director of Corporate Operations and Caribbean and International Affairs in Global Communications Solutions Limited (GCSL) represented the St. Kitts and Nevis in the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Fellowship programme at Washington.
The program was a month-long professional event held from 27 April to 21 May 2026.
The main objective of the program was to empower young business and social entrepreneurs across the Latin Americas, Canada and the Caribbean region.
The program provides participants an opportunity to experience intensive corporate and organizational placements across the United States. Through the program participants evolve their business knowledge including leadership role, innovation and long-term economic partnership.
Moreover, Tricia Clarke also shared her experience in the Young Leaders of the Americas Initiative (YLAI) Fellowship program on her official social media page. She said, “The growth I experienced, both professionally and personally, has been beyond words. To St. Kitts and Nevis I came as one of your own, and I return with more tools, vision and a deeper commitment to building something meaningful at home”.
Additionally, Jacinth Henry-Martin St. Kitts and Nevis Ambassador to the United States welcomed Ticia Clarke to the Embassy. She even acknowledged and appreciated Clarke achievements and admired her dedication to professional excellence. St. Kitts and Nevis United States Embassy also applauded her participation in the program and mentioned that her participation reflects the twin islands as developing nations in the international platform.
The embassy said, “Her participation reflects the immense talent and potential of our nation’s young leaders and serves as an inspiration to others pursuing excellence in business and community service”.
According to officials, completing the YLAI Fellowship gives a network to Clarke of emerging leaders across the Americas. The knowledge, experiences and partnership opportunities she gained through the program will contribute to twin islands federation ongoing efforts of developing the nation.
