St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority organised an educational tour for the students of Washington Archibald High School (WAHS) to the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport. The tour was organised jointly by the SCASPA and the High School authorities on Wednesday 20, May 2026.
According to sources, the tour of students was led by Customer Service officer Chandesha Mills and Communications Clerk Kimoya Williams. The main motive of the educational tour was to give students an opportunity to explore careers in Aviation, Communication and Technology.
St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority explained that with this tour students studied about the development in the aviation industry. SCASPA said, “As part of their studies focused on Communication and Technology, students explored how innovation continues to create career opportunities and how technology and careers work hand in hand across the aviation industry.
The students visited several key departments and operational areas throughout their visit including Cargo Shed, Maintenance, ID Badge Training, Airline Desk, Screening Areas 1 & 2, Security Screening Point, Customer Service, Customs, Communications, and the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATC).
Moreover the WAHS students had the chance to experience valuable insights in operations and technologies which provide support in efficient, safe and seamless airport services. The educational tour also revealed to the students the diverse career paths that exist in the aviation sector
St. Christopher Air & Sea Ports Authority stated they were committed to inspire and empower the next generation of the twin islands. The SCASPA authority also shared the visit of the Washington Archibald High School (WAHS) in their social media platform.
Additionally, before the Washington Archibald High School (WAHS) two more schools of twin island visited the Robert L. Bradshaw International Airport including Trucker Clarke Primary School and Charles E. Mills Secondary School in May 2026.
