The second CONCACAF Nations League clash between the table toppers, Cuba and St. Kitts and Nevis also ended in a 2-2 draw. The match, which was played on Monday, October 5, 2026 at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Trinidad and Tobago.
The overall standings of the group table remain unchanged with this match ending in a 2-2 draw for both the teams. Both Cuba and St. Kitts and Nevis retained their places in the group table in the first and second spot respectively.
The match on monday saw the Sugar Boyz star player returning to his role as the MVP of the team and scored two goals. The match started in the favour of the Sugar Boys as the team scored their first goal in the sixteenth minute of the game.
By the time half time rolled around, Cuba also scored their first goal of the match, making the two teams start the second half of the game on equal footing.
The second goal from the Sugar Boyz came in the 63rd minute of the game and the Sugar Boyz were able to snatch their lead back for a few minutes into the game. Cuba, which has been steadily performing against the opponents throughout the nation’s league matches fought for their second goal and brought the match to another draw.
At the end of the second clash between St. Kitts and Nevis, the situation within the League C Group B table has not changed significantly as both the teams currently stand at 8 points each. Owing to the one goal lead that Cuba has maintained since the beginning of the Nations League games has helped the team maintain its overall lead in Group C.
The Nations League matches will now move to the November window for the Sugar Boyz where the team will face Bonaire and Grenada for their away clashes.
Both Grenada and Bonaire have faced defeat at the hands of the Sugar Boyz during the matches they played in September.
The outcomes of the clashes with the bottom two teams of the Group C of CONCACAF Nations League will now decide the fate of the top two teams. The top ranking team in the Group table will move to League A and advances to the League B Championship.
