St Kitts and Nevis is gearing up to open the schools for the new session on September 1 2025. The various organisations across St Kitts and Nevis organized back to school events in preparation for the new term.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew organised a back to school fair for the students of St Christopher 8 from the ages of preschool to high school. The students had the opportunity to get school supplies, haircuts, new braids and more during this event.
This was the 13th edition of the back to school event, hosted at the National Heroes Park in Cayon and welcomed several students and parents to the event. The event has been serving the people of constituency 8 and beyond for more than a decade.
Champs for Charity Foundation held its third Back to School event for pre-school, primary and high school students. The back to school event was hosted at the NCI Grounds which were formerly known as the FLOW grounds, on Friday 29th August 2025.
Back to school events are designed to support the young students from the preschool to the high school ages to get ready for the upcoming school year. The event sought to give the children the opportunity to get their back to school supplies.
The event is part of the organizations community support initiative for the start of the new session. At the same time, the organization’s Back to School event was supported by several partners across St Kitts and Nevis.
The Champs for Charity Foundation was founded approximately 10 years ago under the chairmanship of Shirley Morgan. The founder said that she was passionate towards community development and support.
She spoke to the media recently where Shirley claimed that she came from a large family which gives her motivation to work for the community. She said that before the foundation, she felt like she was not doing enough work for the people.
Over the last ten years, the foundation has organized several community projects and raised funds to support the persons in need, victims of fire, etc.
