The Ministry of Information Communication and Technology (ICT) in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, headed by Konris Maynard, recently hosted the International Girls in ICT Best in Canva Poster Competition on Thursday, April 27, 2023. The ICT ministry has shared the competition results on their social media. The competition was held on April 27 at the National ICT Center and the industrial site.

The Ministry of Information, communication and Technology hosted the event to commemorate the international day of Girls in ICT. The ministry hosted the competition from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM under the Digital Skills for Life theme. The Ministry of Information Communication and Technology has shared a message applauding all the participants for their performance. At the same time, the ministry declared the results of the competition on May 3, 2023.

The Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology extended their utmost appreciation to the schools for participating in the International Girls in ICT Best in Canva Poster Competition. The authorities expressed that the level of creativity and support was exceptional!

The winners of the competition are as follows:
1st place: Kayla Browne of the Basseterre High School
2nd place: Kronique Drew of the Charles E. Mills Secondary School
3rd place: Rianna Heyliger of the Charles E. Mills Secondary School

The Charles E. Mills Secondary School of Constituency 6 dominated the winner’s list of the competition, while the Basseterre High School of Constituency 8 clinched the top spot. Meanwhile, Verchild’s High School participating in the match did not win any prizes. However, they turned in some creative entries.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) shared that the prizes will be distributed at the respective schools this week. At the same time, they took the opportunity to extend their gratitude to Verchild’s High School for their participation in the competition.
