The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas, who also served as the minister of international trade, commerce and industry in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, recently took to his social media account to share some glimpses of the final days of his ministry’s initiative of the Diplomatic week. The Minister of Foreign Affairs engaged with diplomats from more than 40 countries during the third diplomatic week.
Following the conclusion of Diplomatic Week, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the government of St Kitts and Nevis arranged a retreat for their staff and ministry members. The Senior Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party shared glimpses from the excursion on his social media account. The Diplomatic Week was an effort of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to create a better and lasting relationship between St Kitts and Nevis and the rest of the world.
Dr Denzil Douglas shared that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs retreat after the Diplomatic Week featured presentations made by the various staff members of the ministries. They spoke and interacted with the other members of the community. The following members made the presentations during the staff members‘ retreat on Friday, April 28, 2023.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas applauded the effort of the Ministry staff in making the diplomatic week a great success. He took to his social media account to share the message, As we prepare for our Country to become a sustainable island state, the Presentations from all the Presenters were very informative, insightful and inspiring.
He further asserted that we shall build on the information provided, to help guide us in forming our Foreign Policy and a sustainable island State. Dr Douglas shared some of the images clicked at the retreat. The diplomatic week was hosted under the theme: Driving Change, Advancing the Vision for a sustainable island state.
