The Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation et al., Marsha Henderson, also the parliamentary representative of Constituency 2, recently interacted with the media to provide updates regarding the developments in her ministry. 

The Ministry of Tourism hosted the Press conference with Marsha Henderson on Thursday, April 13, 2023. The meeting was live-streamed through the television and radio channels of ZIZ Online. The discussion started at 10:30 AM. Several members of her ministry accompanied the Minister of Tourism.

During the press conference, The Minister and her team talked extensively about the developments in the tourism sector. Press representatives got the chance to interact with the Minister of Tourism and get updated on various issues of importance. 

Minister Marsha Henderson provided the people of St Kitts and Nevis with critical updates regarding the airlift, the air and seaports, and UDC. St Kitts and Nevis Tourism Ministry has remained highly active in the last few months and sincerely tried to revive the tourism industry after the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Further, The press conference also featured exciting news surrounding the St. Kitts Music Festival as the 2nd wave of artists was announced. Minister Henderson promised a festival packed with great entertainment and assured the general public that this year’s music festival would be like no other.

The Minister of Tourism has been working to ensure the summer activities of St Kitts and Nevis attract several visitors and uplift the standard of the island’s services. The rise in tourists will undoubtedly help the local population with improved business opportunities. Accordingly, the Ministry of Tourism has contracted with various airlines to increase or start inbound flights to St Kitts and Nevis.
