The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, is hosting a critical meeting with St Kitts and Nevis’s diaspora members living in Washington, DC. The government has planned to host the meeting on Saturday, April 15, 2023. The Prime Minister is scheduled to travel to Washington DC, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, to attend some critical meetings for the World Bank/IMF spring session.

Accordingly, PM Drew announced they are hosting the diaspora meeting on the sidelines of his commitment to attend the World Bank/IMF Meetings. The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, urged the diaspora members to participate in the meeting. The meeting will serve as an opportunity for the Prime Minister to get the chance to interact with the people of the country who are living away from home.

This is the second time Dr Terrance Drew has hosted such a meeting with the diaspora members. The government of St Kitts and Nevis hosted the first edition of the conference in Florida on February 18. 2023. Further, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr Denzil Douglas, accompanied the Prime Minister during the meeting.

The most recent meeting with St Kitts and Nevis Diaspora members will occur at the Embassy of St. Kitts and Nevis, located at 3216 New Mexico Ave NW, Washington, DC. The meeting will be open to a Diaspora Meeting for attendants of the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) area.

Additionally, the meeting will occur from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The session will allow Dr Terrance Drew to interact with the diaspora members living in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) areas. Social media users have wished for the Prime Minister to have a safe journey for the upcoming meeting with the nationals of St Kitts and Nevis living in the diaspora.

They extended their gratitude to the Prime Minister for his gesture of hosting regular interactions with all St Kittitians and Nevisians at the world stage.
