The Minister of creative economy and entrepreneurship in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins, recently took to his social media account to share an update regarding the Grant Readiness workshop for owners of small and medium-sized businesses in St Kitts. The team at the Ministry of Small Business and Entrepreneurship hosted the initiative—the initiative aimed to equip them with the tools and information to apply for grants successfully.
The Minister of small business and entrepreneurship, Samal Duggins, shared several glimpses from the Grant Readiness workshop which would help the owners of the small businesses within the federation get valuable information on how they can take their business to the next level of development.
Primarily, the programme focussed on informing small business owners and entrepreneurs how to secure grants and loans for their businesses. The grants will assist business owners in ensuring the development of their businesses. The Minister of small business and entrepreneurship shared that transforming micro, small and medium-sized enterprises through entrepreneurship is critical to our country’s economic development.
Minister Samal Duggins encouraged all the people of St Kitts and Nevis to take advantage of these opportunities to elevate themselves, their businesses and, by extension, the nation. Several entrepreneurial experts attended the workshop. They shared critical information with the entrepreneurs and made them aware of the various procedures to access the multiple facilities available to them.
