The ministry of national security, which operates under the jurisdiction of Prime Minister Drew, has arranged the installation ceremony for the police official.
The ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, February 23, 2023. The ceremony is to be live-streamed through the media channels of St Kitts and Nevis. The installation ceremony comes at an extremely reasonable time as the twin-island federation is experiencing increased incidents of violence and crime. Installing a chain of command will start with the appointment of James Sutton as the commissioner of the police force.
