The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, also responsible for the social security ministry, attended the Social Security 45th Anniversary Church Service. In the capacity of the Minister of National Security and Social Security, Prime Minister Dr Drew is highly invested in ensuring that the federation and its people remain safe and secure.
The social security board hosted the church service at the Zion Moravian Church on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Prime Minister Drew shared some glimpses of the service on his social media. At the same time, he noted that it was a pleasure working with the various members of the board and staff giving thanks for the 45 years of service.

During the thanksgiving service, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew delivered brief remarks commemorating the anniversary. In his speech, he indulged the members of the social security board and thanked them for 45 years of service. Notably, the social security board came into existence in the year 1978. At the time, the members of the social security board also established the social security fund.
Historically, the social security board has demonstrated their commitment to nation-building through various initiatives. The social security board makes annual donations to health and national security, education, and capital investment in local development projects. They also support youth programs and NGOs.
