The Minister of Agriculture and creative economy in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins, visited the Gideon Force Organic Farm in Old Road. He met the members of the organic farm and held fruitful interactions with the members of the organic farm. The Minister of Agriculture took to his social media account to share the update.
According to the update shared by Minister Samal Duggins, he and the members of the organic farm covered many issues, including organic farming, training and education and collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture of St Kitts and Nevis. Further elaborating on the experience that minister Duggins had during his visit, he stated The members even gifted me a sample of their organic produce, which I can’t wait to try.
Minister Samal Duggins also shared an image of his visit on his social media. In the picture, the agriculture minister was seen posing with the sample of products that he received as a gift from the members of the organic farms. Further, the Minister of Agriculture, St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins, implored all the people of St Kitts and Nevis to visit Gideon Farm “for an unforgettable experience” He noted that on this farm, sustainable farming practices are perfectly combined with spirituality.
Several social media users shared their experiences visiting the organic farm and lauded the services of the farm. One of the social media users, Linda Maia Hadi-Williams, wrote that she visited Godwin Force Organic Farm. It was a wonderful experience.
Meanwhile, another social media user, Enoch Smithen, urged the agriculture ministry to support the farmers of St Kitts and Nevis. He noted:
Farmers don’t have anything in their hands Hon Samal no equipment, nothing is demonstrating there. Let’s get together, Minister on farming.
They look like hardworking farmers, but we are not sure we see nothing.
Anyway that was good given them some exposure a sign of encouragement.
