The St Kitts Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC) has recently announced that they will host all remaining Carnival shows at the Warner Park Cricket Stadium. The SKNNCC announced on
The Sugar Mas 51, the annual Carnival of St Kitts and Nevis, is currently in progress. It opened on December 2, 2022. The Sugar Mas 51 National Carnival’s final events will be held on January 3, 2023.
St Kitts and Nevis national Carnival Committee made this announcement to maintain the high quality of the overall production of the shows.
The new venue (Warner Park Cricket Stadium) will host the following events:
- The National Carnival Swimwear Pageant is on Tuesday, December 27.
- The National Carnival Queen Pageant is on the 28th
- The FLOW Senior Calypso Monarch is on December 29
The Chairperson of the St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC), Shannon Hawley, stated that the Committee was mindful and calculated when making this decision.
In the same line, she continued saying that we listened to the suggestions made internally and externally to ensure the comfort of all patrons. Following this, the national Carnival Committee (SKNNCC) decided to change the venue for all the upcoming events. The Carnival Committee agreed on the change for the rest of the season.
This is the second venue change for the National carnival Swimwear Pageant. Earlier, SKNNCC was supposed to host the pageant in the Sugar Mas Wonderland.
In the update, St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee reminded the Festival Revellers to buy the tickets. Tickets for the National Carnival Swimwear Pageant, National Carnival Queen, & FLOW Senior Calypso Monarch are available online at www.skncarnival.com.
Further, they also informed the people that the tickets are available at the Carnival Secretariat in the EC Daniel building on Cayon Street.
Additionally, All the shows will be streamed LIVE via pay-per-view via www.skncarnival.com.
