The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee (SKNNCC), the organization organizing the Sugar Mas 51, has taken to their social media channels to inform the people of St Kitts and Nevis about a date and venue change regarding the National Swimwear Pageant.
The update was shared by the SKNNCC on Tuesday, December 13, 2022.
According to the update the National Carnival Committee shared, the venue and date changes were necessary due to logistical and operational changes. These functional and logistical changes are being put in place to ensure the successful staging of the Pageant.
As per St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee, following the changes, The Pageant will take place on Tuesday, December 27, at “Sugar Mas Wonderland”, Carnival Village.
The venue, Sugar Mas Wonderland, will be transformed for the Pageant. The venue and festivities of the swimwear pageant will include a pre-show welcome experience featuring folklore & entertainment for visitors and residents to enjoy.
Further, the pageant show will feature spectacular LIVE performances by Venelle Powell, Erica Edwards and Nicha B. The J’nysis Band will back all the performers.
Four Contestants will compete and contend for the coveted crown of the Miss National Carnival Swimwear Pageant.
The names of the Swimwear Pageant Contestants are:
- Arcadia Harrigan, She is the Miss Azul Printers,
- Nevilla Douglas, who is Miss Flow,
- Kellane Gayle, the crowned Miss Carambola White Sands
- Toriyana Freeman had previously won the Miss St Kitts Marriott Resort title.
In the update informing the residents of St Kitts and Nevis about the date and venue changes, The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival Committee also informed that the tickets for the National Carnival Swimwear Pageant slated for Tuesday, December 27, at Carnival Village are available online at their website. Offline, the tickets can be purchased at the Carnival Secretariat in the EC Daniel Building on Cayon Street.
They further informed that tickets purchased to date will be transferable to the new date.
