Further, she stated that we (St Kitts and Nevis) strive to advance ideals of gender equality and eliminate things like violence against women. For achieving that, we need to have our men and boys on board,”

Minister Phillip further stated, “The pillars are fundamental in terms of the social skills… and also providing opportunities for educational advancement. Thus, she urged mentees, boys, and young men to take advantage of the opportunities and everything that comes here.

Junior Minister Phillip commented on the programme’s overall objective, “Building Boys Excellence”, Additionally, Senator Isalean Phillip added that mentorship is essential.

Senator Phillip emphasised the importance of the ministries of the sister-islands working together while adding that she is delighted about the partnership established between St. Kitts and Nevis regarding gender affairs.

Senator Isalean Phillip stated that The relationship between the two nations is a positive one you can count on.

She encouraged the programme’s advising council never to be afraid to learn from the best practices, learn from the mistakes because we want to strive to, of course, do better,” said the minister.

The opportunity for Minister Phillip to launch Nevis’ Boys Mentorship Programme is directly in line with the commitment of the Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew, to strengthen and improve the relationship between both islands.
