St Kitts and Nevis is hosting a mental health awareness week. The Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffery Hanley, shared the schedule for the same on his Facebook account.
He captioned his shared post with the words, Let us all do our part in “making mental health and well-being for everyone a global priority.” Wear something green tomorrow, October 10, 2022, as part of the upcoming Mental Health Awareness Week.
The St Kitts Mental Health Association is hosting the week-long events under the banner of “Mental Health Awareness Week”.

The week-long schedule of activities will be hosted between Oct 9-14.
In the first order of business, the nation hosted a church service at the Pentecostal Church of God, Basseterre Sanctuary, on Saturday, October 9, 2022. The service was held between 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
Later the same day (Sunday), Freedom FM hosted Mind, Body and Soul Interview. Julie Charles hosted the episode dedicated to mental health.
On Monday, St Kitts and Nevis celebrated the occasion of World Mental Health Day by observing a national wear green day.
Further, Stephen Smith will host the Objectively Incowrecked Interview.
St Kitts will host Good Morning SKN and Tabooed talk Interviews, where the organisers will prioritise mental health talks.
On Tuesday, October 11, Azem and Jade will host the Island Tea interview and discuss mental health issues.
On Wednesday, October 12, Tracy Wattley will go live for the whole island over at Island Therapy.
Thursday, October 13, St Kitts will host Wellness Yoga Session at Frigate Bay Lawn.
Finally, on the last day of the awareness week, Friday, October 14, St Kitts and Nevis will distribute care packages for the patients at the JNF Psychiatric Ward.
