Following his election as the newest Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, Leader of the SKNLP, along with his ministerial cabinet, is being showered in congratulatory messages and good wishes from prominent leaders of the Caribbean and the world.

In a congratulatory message, the President and Vice President of Nicaragua extended best wishes to Dr Terrance Drew following his election as the country’s prime minister.

President Daniel Ortega Saavedra and his wife, the First Lady and Vice President Rosario Murillo, expressed their warmest Congratulations to Dr Terrance Drew and Saint Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) for the victory in the elections held on August 5, 2022.

“At the beginning of your new tenure as Prime Minister, we convey to You, Your new Government and the Brotherly People of St Kitts and Nevis our wishes for Peace, Prosperity and Good Living, as we repeat our unwavering commitment to continue strengthening the Fraternal Bonds of Solidarity and Cooperation that unite the Peoples and Governments of both countries.

Premier of Montserrat, Joseph Farrell, extended his best wishes for a successful term in office to the newly elected Prime Minister, Dr Terrance Drew.

In the congratulatory message to Prime Minister Drew, the Premier of Montserrat stated that it was his pleasure to congratulate Dr Terrance Drew and St. Kitts & Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) on your decisive victory at the recent General Elections.

He assured the prime minister of the continued friendship and support of the Government and people of Montserrat as the new government works tirelessly for the development and prosperity of the people of St. Kitts and Nevis.

He added, “Finally, let this fantastic achievement and your commitment to the people of St. Kitts and Nevis fill you with the courage and energy you need to take every opportunity and overcome every challenge that comes your way.”

He then repeated his assurances and expressed best wishes for a successful term of office.

The Premier of Montserrat added that he looked forward to working with Dr Drew to strengthen the vitally important ties our two countries share as OECS and CARICOM member states.

Prime Minister Andrew Holness of Jamaica also shared a congratulatory message, extending his congratulations to Dr Drew following his appointment as the fourth PM of St Kitts and Nevis on August 6, 2022.

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, today held a phone call with the Prime Minister of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, who was elected in the elections on August 5, 2022, with the purpose of extending his cordial congratulations on his victory.

On Saturday, August 6, 2022, President of the Republic of China, Dr Tsai Ing-wen sent a congratulatory message to Dr Terrance Drew, who was sworn in as the fourth Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis on the same day.
