The police force of St Kitts and Nevis, the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force, has started investigating another homicide in the country. The incident took place in the Cayon Community of St Kitts. The victim of the shooting and murder incident was identified as Garvey Rogers of Polland, Conaree.
The incident took place in the Conaree Community of the country.The crime was committed in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 4, 2023. The police officials claimed that the incident occurred between 1:30AM and 2:00 AM at Osbourne Street in Cayon.
The investigations into the incident have started as the Police have ascertained the circumstances surrounding the homicide. According to the preliminary investigations initiated by the Police Force of St Kitts and Nevis, the victim, Rogers, was accompanying a female at the time of the incident.
They stepped out of the vehicle, and several armed assailants fired upon both the victim and the accompanying female. Further, the victim Rogers was struck multiple times about the body. He succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Meanwhile, the woman accompanying the victim escaped the scene unscathed.
Meanwhile, another female, standing some distance from the victim, Garvey Rogers, was also grazed by a bullet in the thigh. After further investigation, officers have claimed that the female is being treated in the Joseph N France General Hospital. She was standing at a restaurant on Cayon Main Road.
The hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department has reported that the victim is stable. The police force of St Kitts and Nevis has started the investigation into the issue. The Police Force has started the investigation of the incident. The Crime Scene Unit processed the scenes and collected some items of evidential value,
