St Kitts and Nevis: St Kitts and Nevis ranks first in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) according to the United Nations Development Programme and Human Development Report.
According to the UN Report, Saint Kitts and Nevis has been ranked 51st out of 193 nations that were listed in the Caribbean Community (CARICOM). The United Nations published the report under the theme “Breaking the Gridlock: Re-imagining Cooperation in a Polarized World.”
The report intimidated about the changes that have been made by the Federal Cabinet in the policies of health and education sector. This played a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life and well being of it’s citizens.
The implementation of these policies has paved the way for the twin island state to bring developments in its economic sector. All those initiatives made by the government recognized St Kitts and Nevis as a leading nation in human development across the Caribbean region.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew expressed his gratitude towards the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis for sincerely following the policies that have been implemented by the Federal Cabinet.
Additionally, he added that the work done by the leaders, with acute determination and dedication, never failed to implement new and innovative policies for the citizens of St Kitts and Nevis.
He proudly said that it is the fruit of the hard work of all the leaders that the Twin Island State has again ranked number one. PM Drew promised the citizens that the leaders would continue to work diligently and compassionately for the nation and maintain their leadership in human development within CARICOM.
Reportedly, PM Drew stated that the government will make efforts to bring in more innovative and advanced policies that will lead to developments in the education, healthcare and economic sectors of the nation.
Moreover, PM Drew reaffirms that the government will make every initiative to add light to the people of St Kitts and Nevis and commits that the nation will always remain at the forefront of human development in the Caribbean. The Federal government aims to establish a sustainable island state in every sector possible.
