The St Kitts Electricity Company (SKELEC) has shared the schedule for maintenance outages from May 1, 2023, to May 5, 2023. Maintenance outages are a routine part of the St Kitts Electricity Company’s efforts to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to the various communities. SKELEC schedules regular maintenance outages in multiple districts to ensure that all the country’s people can access new and improved facilities and infrastructure equally.
The Public Works Department under the Ministry of Public Utilities has made several significant investments in the SKELEC and the NEVLEC to ensure that the people of St Kitts and Nevis can continue getting access to electricity at a price that they can afford.
The maintenance outages are also a part of the same mandate. Below is the schedule given out by the St Kitts Electricity Company:

The St Kitts Electricity Company (SKELEC) has clarified that the timings of the outages are a rough estimate for the people. The authorities may cut power supply for the areas earlier or later than given in the schedule. Accordingly, the power may also be restored earlier or later than the given time.
