The St Kitts Electricity Company Ltd (SKELEC) has shared an update on their social media account informing the public regarding scheduled maintenance outages from January 9 to January 13 2023.
As per the update shared by the social media page of SKELEC, the scheduled maintenance outages are necessary to perform maintenance which is a part of our ongoing efforts to improve reliability in St Kitts.
The St Kitts Electricity Company Limited has further announced that the Customers in the communities affected by the maintenance must expect an interruption of supply between the hours stated. The electricity supply may be interrupted later and restored earlier than the scheduled times.
The schedule for the maintenance power outages are:
On Tuesday, January 10, the following areas will be affected by power outages from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM due to maintenance:
UPPER AND LOWER BOURRYEAU
LOWER MOLINEUX & PARK VIEW BOURRYEAU HOUSING PROJECT
On Wednesday, January 11, GOLDEN ROCK COMMERCIAL will be affected due to the scheduled power outages from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The St Kitts Electricity Company Limited has further noted that The Organization may not fix the outage time. power may
SKELEC has apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused by these electricity supply interruptions. Further, they have also urged the people who remain without power after the scheduled outages to call 465-2013 or 600 from a mobile phone to report the outage.
