The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, recently attended the Agriculture expo at the ETW Park in Nevis. He took to his social media to share an update regarding the opening ceremony of the two-day expo, which opened on March 30, 2023. The Premier shared several glimpses of the event on his social media.
He was accompanied by several prominent members of the Nevis political scenario, including Deputy Governor General Her Honour Hyleta Liburd, Deputy Premier and Minister of Agriculture Eric Evelyn, the former Minister of Agriculture, Alexis Jeffers, Spencer R Brand, and Troy Liburd.
Meanwhile, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Latoya Biyanca Jones and Michael Lin, Ambassador of Taiwan to St. Kitts and Nevis.
The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, shared that at the opening of the two-day, AgriExpo showcasing everything related to Agriculture in Nevis. The department of Agriculture arranged the event for two days . In line with this Premier of Nevis applauded the former Minister of Agriculture in the Nevis Island Administration for arranging the event with such perfection.,
According to Premier Brantley, Minister of Agriculture, Eric Evelyn, Permanent Secretary in the ministry of Agriculture Huey Sargeant, Director of Agriculture Randy Elliott, and the entire team at our Ministry and Department of Agriculture did an incredible job staging this tremendous event.
The Premier of Nevis also commended the government and people of Statia, who sent a cohort of 130 persons to the 2023 edition of the Agriculture Expo event. Mark Brantley shared several glimpses of the event on his social media account.
Following this, he extended his deepest gratitude to the event’s patron Mr Collin Huggins who is well deserving of this honour. Premier Mark Brantley shared that Nevis is seeking to become a model for food sovereignty in our region. Let us grow why we eat and eat what we grow.
