The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, took to his social media account to share the significance of caring for one’s mental health. The Premier detailed an incident of violence in Charlestown on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. The Premier, who was also one of the managing partners in the law firm of Daniel, Brantley and Associates, shared the specifics of the incident on his social media account.
As per the update shared by the Premier of Nevis, there was an incident in Charlestown earlier today where someone suffering a mental break attacked the law offices of Daniel Brantley. The culprit tried to force his way inside the premises of the offices. Premier Mark Brantley shared that, fortunately, the man was unsuccessful in his attempt.
The police authorities of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis responded quickly to the situation. He asserted that no one was harmed during the mental break-induced episode. Premier Mark Brantley took the opportunity to share his views about the state of mental healthcare in the federation.
Premier of Nevis, wrote on his social media account that The incident reminds us all that mental health issues exist in our community and we must all work together to identify and afford treatment. He asserted that We do not need recrimination and discrimination. We need empathy, understanding and treatment.
