The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, recently met and interacted with the nursing fraternity of the federation. Dr Terrance Drew shared the update on this meeting on his social media profile. The Prime Minister stated that they engaged in frank and open discussions on several matters critical to the advancement of the nursing profession.
Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew convened the meeting with the nursing community of St Kitts and Nevis at the Joseph N France General Hospital classroom. Dr Drew asserted that the meeting between him and the nursing fraternity was fruitful and productive. The Prime Minister interacted with the nursing staff regarding several important issues.
At the same time, Dr Drew announced that he was looking forward to unveiling several new initiatives within the healthcare industry. In a recent interaction with several members and stakeholders of the Healthcare sector, Dr Drew announced the ministry’s plans for the future of the healthcare sector in the country. Some of the major announcements made during the said conference were about universal healthcare and the construction of a new smart hospital.
During his media interaction on March 2, 2023, the Prime Minister discussed at length the initiatives that he believes are necessary for the upliftment of the St Kitts and Nevis community.
