The Association of St. Kitts and Nevis Nationals in Taiwan has invited people to the rhythms of Soca beats in which they will learn to groove and dance with their instructor Jemmy. The Soca Cise is scheduled to take place at I- Shou University, Main Campus in Kaohsiung on June 1, 2024 at 2 pm.
The registration for the ‘Soca Cise’ started on Monday until May 25, 2024. The people are encouraged to apply for the above-mentioned event directly by visiting the registration link.
Notably, the information of the Soca event has been shared through the official handle of the Association of St. Kitts and Nevis Nationals in Taiwan.
“Get ready to groove, sweat, and vibe to the rhythms of Soca beats! Meet Instructor Jemmy. With years of experience as a dancer, she’s prepared to help us get those bodies ready for summer,” added the association of twin-island Federation.
It is to be added that the applicants have to submit $250 for registration. Moreover, the participants will be provided with a light snack and water. Following are the steps to be followed by the individuals while applying for the admission.
- The applicants are supposed to fill their names and email address to begin registration process.
- Once completed, upload a digital receipt for proof of the payment.
Furthermore, the name, email address and picture associated with the Google Account will be recorded when the person will upload file and submit the form. The attendees travelling from Northern Taiwan will be offered an option if they are willing to take a chartered bus at a packaged price or they have other means of transport.
Additionally, Soca is termed as a modern form of calypso and it represent a fusion of African and Caribbean Kaiso and Calypso and South Asian rhythms. Following are few types of Soca:
