St. Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, along with his wife Diani Jimesha Prince, visited the new moms and moms-to-be at the Joseph N France General Hospital on the eve of Mother’s Day.
PM Drew and his wife greeted the females on this special occasion and honoured them with gift hampers.
First Lady Diani Prince also shared glimpses of the meeting on her official Facebook account. He said, “It was a tremendous privilege and pleasure to visit the newest moms and moms-to-be at the JNF General Hospital this morning on Mother’s Day, where my husband, Hon. Dr. Terrance Drew, joined me in presenting tokens of congratulations and support.”

She further wished them all the very best and said that they may be blessed with a lifetime of joy. She also expressed her gratitude to the staff at the JNF General Hospital Maternity Ward for facilitating her visit on Sunday.

The generous act of the leaders of St Kitts and Nevis showcases their love and care towards the citizens and residents and their commitment towards being with the people.
In addition to this, to make the day more special, the Prime Minister and his wife joined by the Esteemed Dame Marcella Liburd, spent a splendid evening with the nurses of St Kitts and Nevis. The brief event was hosted in appreciation of nurses as the International Nurses Day coincided with Mothers Day.
PM Drew said that it is important to show the nurses that they are loved and appreciated for everything they do for the citizens of the Federation.
Meanwhile, the citizens showed their respect and love towards the Prime Minister for his heartfelt acts with one citizen named Sunshine Crawford saying, “The Honorable Dr.Terrence Drew, Thank you for hosting a cocktail party to appreciate the hard working nurses. We had an evening of splendor. Thank you once again for thinking about us and keeping your promises.”
