There are reports Sunday night that an unidentified vessel has dropped off several Haitian migrants near the St Kitts-Nevis Defence Force Coast Guard Base in Bird Rock.
According to a source who lives in the area, over a dozen Haitians may have attempted to check into the nearby Bird Rock Beach Hotel.
The source said police have been called to investigate.
No other information was immediately available.
