St. Kitts & Nevis Records 19 Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19, 17 Recovered And Two Active Cases

Chief Medical Officer, Dr Hazel Laws announced at the National Emergency Operation Centre (NEOC) Press Briefing on September 18 and informed that two new cases of COVID-19 were recorded for the twin-island Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

The CMO stated that these two new cases are returning nationals. These two new cases have brought the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in St Kitts and Nevis to 19.

Seventeen persons have fully recovered from the disease so far.

As nationals continue to return to the country, there are currently 63 persons who are now in government assigned quarantine facilities.

Dr Laws said that a few of them are in pre-approved quarantine sites.

Two individuals are now in isolation.

Dr Laws added that St. Kitts and Nevis continues testing. To date, there have been 2,139 persons tested.
