With the conclusion of 2022 and the start of 2023, several important politicians and political leaders of St Kitts and Nevis labour Party have taken to their respective social media accounts to share their greetings of the new year with the people of the nation.
Dr Terrance Drew, the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis delivered his maiden New Year’s address where he extended greetings of the event, along with talking about the nation’s development.
Senior Minister of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP), Dr Denzil Douglas, extended his greetings of the season on his social media. Some images accompanied his good wishes on the occasion of the new year. He also thanked the people for all the love and support he received at their hands in the previous year.
Minister of Creative Economy Samal Duggins and Minister of Tourism Marsha Henderson also shared their good wishes on their Facebook account.
Samal Duggins wrote:
There is much hope as we reflect on the end of one year and look forward to the beginning of another.
While 2022 had its highs and lows, we have proven as a people that life’s challenges are no match for our courage, determination and resilience.
Wishing each and every one of us good health, peace and prosperity for 2023.

Meanwhile, Marsha Henderson, who celebrated her new year in the church, shared an image from the excursion with the caption:
The first day of the year finds me in the house of God.
Grateful and thankful for a new year and the opportunities that it will bring.
She stated that she was Counting her blessings and thanking the Lord for his continued guidance and protection.
She confessed that she was Honoured to represent the good people of Central Basseterre, the best constituency ever!
She extended her greetings with the words, May your 2023 be filled with Blessings, Gratitude, Good Health and Prosperity.
