Terrance Drew completes 1 year as SKNLP Leader, commemorates with post, PC: Facebook, Terrance Drew

Dr Terrance Drew, The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis completed a year as the leader of the ruling political party, St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP), on November 28 2022. The day marks the one-year anniversary of the Prime Minister’s appointment as the leader of the SKNLP. 

He succeeded the former leader and prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Denzil Douglas. 

Prime Minister Dr Drew shared a post commemorating the occasion of the anniversary on his social media handles. Through this post, The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis expressed his thankfulness to the members of the delegation who selected and appointed him as the leader of the political party. 

Further, Dr Terrance Drew also thanked the people of St Kitts and Nevis for supporting him and his leadership of the political party. 

The party delegates at the 89th conference of St Kitts and Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) elected Dr Terrance Drew as the National Political Leader in the year 2021. On the occasion of the one-year anniversary, the newly appointed Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis expressed his gratitude.

Dr Terrance Drew shared an anniversary spotlight on November 28, featuring the words, I take this opportunity to thank you (the delegation) for giving me the opportunity to lead this caring Labour movement which has seen visionary leaders over the years, including our immediate past leader, Dr Denzil Douglas

Further, addressing the people of St Kitts and Nevis, he wrote: 

I further hereby express appreciation for the ongoing support that I have and continue to receive from so many of you. It is an honour to serve my country and people with a team that stays true to its vision for the betterment of our nation for the good the we can do.

The former leader, Dr Douglas, also serves in the government of St Kitts and Nevis as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, Investment, Industry and Commerce.
