Members of the Parliament,Department of Youth Affairs honored the 25 teens who have contributed to the development of the country in different capacities. The nation has been celebrating the young teens of the country every year and bringing spotlight to the achievements of the youth.
The Members of the Parliament, Department of St Kitts and Nevis has shared that they honored teenagers for their courage, inspiration, leadership, and overall excellence. The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis and the members of the federal cabinet, other members of the parliament, were gathered together for a special sitting of the national assembly.
In this national assembly session, twenty five remarkable teens were honored for their work and for making meaningful contributions across the various sectors of the country. The officials have shared that the teenagers will be able to bring more of their capabilities to the forefront.
The aim of the special sitting of the national assembly was to celebrate the youngsters and their dedication to the people of the country. This is the 14th edition of the initiative and is considered one of the most important parts of the youth month commemoration.
The twenty five individuals were honored for their work in entrepreneurship, volunteerism, leadership, education, sports, youth activism and more.
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis was also part of the National Assembly Sitting which was hosted on November 20. The government and members of the youth department have applauded the youngsters who have received the honor
They have extended the hope that the youngsters can continue to grow and achieve milestones like this for the foreseeable future. The officials have shared that they are delighted to see the teenaged nationals of St Kitts and Nevis being recognized.
