The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources in St Kitts is organising the Green Harmony Celebration event at the Horsford’s Building Center, Parking Lot, this Saturday, February 24, 2024.
As per the information, the event will be organized under the theme, ‘Grow and Glow’ and will feature an activity of ‘Plant and Wine’. It will provide the visitors with an impressive experience and a sip of knowledge with the Plant and wine Soiree.
This will be a one-hour event, which will be open to the general public appearances from 12 PM to 1 PM. The Department of Agriculture is partnering with the Horsford to provide plant care tips to customers.
Also, During the event, A representative from the Department will be onsite to provide information during this one-hour session. The session will help the visitors to grasp some valuable insights about plant care and the various stages involved in it.
These stages involved in the Plant Care are:
- Plant spacing
- Depth and watering
- The best use of fertilizer
- Dos and don’ts of plant care
along with many other useful tips for planting and agriculture.
Further, Wine and non-alcoholic drinks will be served during the session. The event will also present a special off of 25% on all Lawn and Garden products.
Notably, as per the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Marine Resources, this will be an effective step to educate and empower the communities about the importance of planting along with various fruitful tips and techniques that they can use to harness in the agricultural fields.
This significant session which will approximately span up to one hour is a commitment of the nation’s agricultural sector towards raising awareness on growing plants and trees.
