Basseterre, St. Kitts and Nevis: St. Kitts and Nevis Labour Party extended an invitation to all its comrades for the celebration of the 2024 edition of the Annual Labour Day. The day will be celebrated with the vision of celebrating the Labour Party’s commitment to growth and shared success.
The island nation will conduct several activities in order to commemorate the tiring and continuous efforts of the Labour Party towards the development of the country. The Annual Labour Day will be held on Monday, 6th May 2024 at Patsy Allers Playing Field under the theme “Live, Work. Prosper: Together.”
This theme highlights the unwavering commitment and dedication of the authority towards fostering unity and brotherhood among the citizens by working towards their common goal which is to make the country a sustainable development nation.
The leaders attending the ceremony will be shedding light on the achievements undertaken by the Labour Party and will also emphasise the opportunities created by the administration for the benefit of local citizens.
Deputy Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Geoffrey Hanley also extended welcome to the citizens and said “It’s about our past, our present, and the great possibilities that lie ahead. Believe that we can make a difference together! Save the date and join the Annual Labour Day March 2024!”
Deputy PM also unveiled the calendar of events for celebrating the Labour Weekend and the measures taken by them to elevate the nation towards progress.

Tuesday, 23rd April 2024 – Regional Meeting/Walkthrough 1: C2, C3, C4 at Venue C4
Wednesday, 24th April 2024 – Regional Meeting/Walkthrough 2: C5, C6, C7 at Venue C7
Thursday, 25th April 2024 – Regional Meeting/Walkthrough 3: C1, C8 at Venue C1
Sunday, 28th April 2024 – C2 National Walkthrough
Tuesday, 30th April 2024 – C6 Pre-Labour Day meeting
Thursday, 2nd May 2024 – C8 Pre-Labour Day meeting
Friday, 3rd May 2024 – Mini Motorcade and Block Lime at Venue: C2
Saturday, 4th May 2024 – Miss Labour Queen Pageant at Carnival City at 7:00 pm.
Sunday, 5th May 2024 – Wreath Laying Ceremony at Country Wide at 2:30 pm.
These events promise to offer a plethora of experiences to all the attendees and they will get an experience filled with several entertaining activities.
Moreover, the Labour Party has also urged the citizens to turn red in order to celebrate all the workers of St. Kitts and Nevis.
