Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, orchestrated a joint cabinet meeting with Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley and the Island Assembly Cabinet on Monday, January 22, 2024.
The main aim of this joint cabinet meeting was to discuss the key issues of national importance with a notable focus on the vital topic of Geothermal collaboration between the two islands.
”Our discussions were productive, and we look forward to continued cooperation that will benefit our people and our Federation.
Thanks for the great Nevisian hospitality,” said PM Drew.
Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, emphasised the importance of fostering collaboration and ensuring all hands are on deck for driving the nation toward a sustainable future.
”As this joint cabinet meeting unfolded, the commitment to unity and progress echoed through discussions, exemplifying a government dedicated to bettering the Federation and creating a caring and collaborative environment” said PM Drew
PM Drew took to social media after the meeting and shared that he was happy to travel to Nevis today with his colleagues of the Federal Cabinet to meet with the Premier of Nevis and the Cabinet of the Nevis Island Administration.
Furthermore, Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley’s Nevis took to his social media pages and also expressed his happiness at welcoming Prime Minister Drew and his Federal Cabinet to Nevis to engage with the Cabinet of the Nevis Island Administration.
Premier Mark Brantley highlighted that the meeting agenda was frank and fruitful and looks forward to further opportunities for dialogue and engagement.
