The team of St Kitts and Nevis Athletics (SKN Athletics) recently took to their social media account to share and express their profound gratitude to all persons who were instrumental in team St Kitts and Nevis’s success at the 50th edition of the Carifta Games. A Team of 22 athletes, aided by a head coach and the team manager, travelled to the Bahamas for the competition.
Primarily, SKN athletics extended their gratitude to the athletes for their stellar performance over the weekend. Following this, they expressed that they are pleased with the numerous personal bests and improvements in performances that they saw in the team of St Kitts and Nevis athletes, as well as the three medals we received.
The team took the opportunity to thank the team’s management, Clytie Gilbert and Dwayne Warner, and the team’s coaches, Kurvin Wallace and Roatter Johnson for carrying the team throughout the competition. Additionally, they took the opportunity to thank the coaches of the individual athletes for the time and efforts invested in the athletes.
Additionally, the team at the SKN Athletics Executive level wishes to thank the team’s sponsors and well-wishers and, most importantly, the entire federation of St Kitts and Nevis for rallying around team UNSTOPPABLE SKN.
The team further took to their social media account to extend their gratitude to all members of the SKN Athletics Office as well as all members of the executive for all of the behind-the-scenes work done to propel our team forward. They confessed that they are pleased with this year’s showing
They expressed their confidence in the fact they will give tough competition in the next hosting of the CARIFTA Games. Notably, Carfita 51 will be hosted in Spice Ise Grenada in April 2024.
As per the update shared by St Kitts and Nevis athletics, the team of representatives will return to St Kitts and Nevis on Wednesday, April 12. The team has also planned on organizing several celebratory events including a motorcade. The details for the same will be shared later.
