Minister Samal Duggins has donated air conditioning units to two daycares in St Kitts and Nevis. The officers have shared that the daycares have been forced to go without airconditioning units for several years.
As such, this donation is both timely and crucial for the development of the early childhood development in St Kitts and Nevis. The officials have shared that the management of both the daycares which have received the donation were delighted to receive these items.
The officials have shared that the management of the old road daycare had been working tirelessly without proper cooling. Seeing the situation, Minister Samal Duggins, who is the parliamentary representative for Old Road, donated Air Conditioners to the daycares.
The officers have shared that with the donations; the children can be taken care of in the community. The officials have shared that the members of the community will be delighted with the development as the children will be well taken care of. The officials have shared that te members of the community have to share some images from the event.
He highlighted that the members of the community will be getting new equipment to make early childhood development easier to access. The Minister of Agriculture, fisheries and the blue economy et al said that the environment of the day care was not conducive in its present condition.
Samal Duggins has shared that he was honored to help the old road day care with the donation. The Minister said that he did not do this for the recognition or applause that it will bring.
This is the responsibility of the people of the community and the leaders of the community, The caregivers as well as children deserve better than this and he was delighted that be the one to extend this support.
Less than a month ago, Minister Samal Duggins had also made a similar donation to the Challengers Day Care Center. The challengers Day Care Center was operating without Air conditioning units for almost eight years.
