The minister of Agriculture and Marine Resources, Samal Duggins, who is also the parliamentary representative of constituency #4, arranged the house-to-house meetings with the people of the challenger’s community. The community is a part of constituency #4. He took to his social media account to share some glimpses of the event on his social media

Sharing his experience of the exercise he took up on February 10, 2023, Samal Duggins wrote: Constituency 4 it’s always a pleasure!
He shared that he continued with his house-to-house visits with the good people of Challengers. Meanwhile, he also expressed that Hearing from you and connecting with you is the only way that we can continue to transform our beloved communities.

Minister Duggins schedules these visits for community interaction and meetings to benefit the people of the various communities under his constituency. Most recently, he embarked on a similar house-to-house visit to the Challengers’ community.

Expanding upon his commitment to remain connected with the people of his constituency, Minister Samal Duggins noted that he recognizes the importance of continuing with my house-to-house visits to ensure that we stay connected and he hears from the members of the community directly.

Talking about his visit, Minister Duggins confessed that his visit on February 1, 2023, was wonderful. He expressed that every conversation, every hug, and every smile meant a lot to him. Meanwhile, he extended Special thanks to the farmers, entertainers and small business owners for providing their feedback and the excellent work that they continue to do.

At the time, he had promised the people of Constituency 4 that my house-to-house visits in the area would continue throughout the upcoming weeks as they work together to deliver the change that we all want for our communities. The people of St Kitts constituency #4, especially the Challengers community, hailed the initiative by their parliamentary representative.

Samal Duggins’ regular meetings and visits allow the people to interact with him and communicate their grievances and feedback. It is also a step towards promoting transparency in the governance.
