The Minister of Sports in the government of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins and the Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, extended their best wishes to the delegation of St Kitts and Nevis that travelled to the Bahamas for the CARIFTA Games from April 7 to April 10, 2023. The Minister of Sports appreciated and applauded the players, hoping the team would represent St Kitts and Nevis successfully.
Minister Samal Duggins shared on his social media account that St Kitts and Nevis’s track and field representatives are travelling to represent our Federation at the 50th staging of the Carifta Games in Nassau, Bahamas.
As the Minister responsible for Sports, Samal Duggins conveyed his best wishes to the team. At the same time, he asserted that the people of St Kitts and Nevis are standing firmly in support of all you’ve accomplished and will accomplish.
The team will compete in the 50th Edition of the CARIFTA games, set to be hosted at the Bahamas in the Thomas Robinson Stadium. Several Caribbean Countries will come together for the occasion to compete at the various track and field events, such as the long jump and high jump.
The Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, took to his social media account, alongside Samal Duggins to share his best wishes for the team representing the Federation on the significant regional platform. The group consists of twenty-two members, along with the team’s manager and coach.
