Nevis: Premier of Nevis Mark Brantley delivered a heartfelt 2024 Christmas Message to the people of Nevis and extended gratitude to all the professionals who have been working with dedication for the island nation.

Premier Brantley expressed his delight in addressing the Nevisians and said that as the premier of this beautiful island, he is filled with pride and gratitude to reflect on all that the nation has achieved.

He reflected on the festive spirit of Christmas and said it is more than just a holiday, it is a time for family, for faith and forgiving. It is a time to celebrate the very essence of who Kittians and Nevisians are, strong, resilient and compassionate people, with hearts full of love for one another and for their communities.

He also shared that as everyone gathers with loved ones, sharing festive meals and exchange gifts, it is not to be forgotten that the true gifts of Christmas are found in kindness, in the simple acts of caring and sharing, and in the bonds forged with each other.

Premier Brantley shed light on the challenges that the nation has gone through this year and expressed how they have overcome those together. “We are people who rise, who work together to build a better future, and who remain resilient in the face of life’s adversities.”

The Premier also took time to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of all the essential workers, healthcare professionals, teachers, and the community leaders. He extended thanks to all of them for their tireless dedication to make St Kitts and Nevis a better place.

He outlined that the people of Nevis, whether near or far, their contributions shape this island and this country and make it a beacon of hope in the Caribbean.

Premier Mark Brantley also encouraged everyone to reflect on what it means to truly give, whether it’s through a kind word, a helping hand, or simply sharing time and love with others.

“Let the spirit of Christmas fill our hearts and guide us in the year ahead as we continue to build a Nevis that is prosperous, united and full of hope for generations to come.”
